Meso blackout turn signals, I had them on my truck and absolutely loved them. aesthetically, I think they are one of the best bang for buck mods out there. Literally took 3-5 minutes per side to knock out.

Can you buy the Tacoma back from your insurance agency for cheaper price? and just replace the bed and you’ll have the Tacoma back

Awesome. That would be amazing. I don’t mind the door being cracked. Just need the cubby part

It was alot more than the bed that was messed up. The Radiator and Trans Cooler broke their mounts and needed to be replaced. My drive shaft had a little camber to it, the spare tire was clearly fucked, the hitch was going to be cut off because some bolts apparently snapped, and a plethora of other items.

I'll call them tonight. I'd be surprised if the truck is still at the collision center since we settled on Monday.

Correct. I've got that Samsung 128 plus a Transcent High Endurance 64. Don't buy the cheap ones.

It is really pathetic how limited protection, and minimum bumper strength, these 3rd gen trucks have on both ends. My last 2nd gen, with a real albeit small steel rear bumper, was rear ended at a red light by a kid running 25 mph. Once I settled with his Dad for $1100 cash I buffed the paint off the chrome bumper and never blinked an eye. Kids car was really beat up. I had 2 quarter sized dents in that bumper. One would think that the newer gen trucks would be safer, or at least as safe, as my 2008 Taco. And that poor kid had his drivers license 2 days. At least the cops were cool and let us settle without a ticket and his Dad patched up his car for around $1000. I have never seen a vehicle that was a total loss from a rear hit as much as these 3rd gens. I had planned on eventually going with a rear steel bumper but would be a waste if they don't have shock absorbing supports like 90% of other cars. Is the 4runner any better ?

Had a 2nd gen as well, Toyota really missed the boat with these garbage bumpers. Miss my 2011 2nd gen big time. In my opinion it was a much better built truck. If I hadn't been t-boned I'd still be driving it. To some degree I have a case of buyers remorse. Life's a bitch sometimes.

Haha. I don't even care. This works well for me. Easy to unplug and remove the wires if needed.

    Celebrating a birthday today........................my 3rd Gen's 1st birthday.

She's been perfect in every way and I have ZERO regrets on buying her.

Truth be told......my sexy bride is celebrating the same with her RAV4. Since she had to work today.....I vacuumed and washed her car first.....but gave more attention to my Taco.

Killed the last of my V07 in the process.

Replaced my compass/auto dimming mirror with one that also has Homelink so I can use it for my garage door instead of the ugly clicker. Plug and play. It’s used but looks brand new.

Got into my Tacoma today and saw it at exactly 700 miles. Loving this truck more & more each day! Also did the easiest install today, the meso gasshole! Still dont know why Toyota couldn't put one of these as stock? I dont even have power electric seats, gotta do it old school and pull up the lever beneath the seat. Its 2018 you would think Toyota would come with these features standard haha!

Thinking of possibly going with new wheels / tires down the road and like the matte black TRD 4Runner wheels but those graphite wheels look so good I'm going to have to consider them as well. Not sure what will look best with white but it's something to at least consider.

Are these Clazzios? What color is the stitching? Red or orange? (Hard to tell in photo) And is the inner panel light gray? Been thinking about a pair of these myself in a very similar color config.
