They sure don’t mess around. I got home today and had a big ol’ box on my front steps. Washed it out, got it iced down, and ready for a weekend of camping.

 

I wish you all a chill Friday and a kicka$$ weekend. Wanted to let you all know of my buddies shop. He does Powder Coating with precision.

Is that for your 80? s powder coating ok for the birf balls and bearing seats?

Those axles are not mine, just a pic of someone’s that was taken. My fj80 axles are an Anthracite Red lol, but I sold my 80 to a buddy...so no more bling axles for me.
In regards to your question about what can/can’t be coated on axles, I would have to direct you to my friend, who does the Powder Coating.

Sweet. I am about to get some work done on some armor for front/rear bumpers and sliders for my new Taco. It needs protection bad!
On another note check out these pics I took yesterday cruising along the Pisgah Forest. As you can see my dog Huck was down for the ADV. He was a trooper on 7hrs of trail riding.

Your hilarious. It’s actually right behind my house up there. You wanna go you just let me know. There is all kinda of stuff to get into...just don’t hang with the locals or you’ll end up in a weird situation like I was in. Lol

 

We'll have to plan a TW camping trip here soon

In all seriousness it looks like some beautiful country there.

 

Lol, it is some of the most beautiful places I have ever seen, and it’s a close drive..well 4.5hrs.

My situation was different than ‘Deliverance’, but it was one that should have been in a movie. I will tell you about it when we meet. I will say it requires me using Duck Tape to get me out of there !!!

Mosko makes some legit saddle bags for bikes so i bet that is a quality tool bag

 

Yeah, this stuff is the jam! I used to be a buyer for a major outdoor store. I met the owner/maker of these bags. At that time he was making packs for hiking and climbing, for a company called Dana Designs.
After I found this company, I sold all my gear for my bike and started over. My 1190r Adv is setup with their Tank Bag, Saddle Bags, and an array of small pouches to jam $hit in.

Worth the money and some!
