I'd like to see an accessory ready power tap and relay center. Nothing too crazy maybe something for winch and two sets of auxiliary lamps. I'm sure they don't do this because people are idiots

The SRs don't even have intermittent wipers? Dang. Stripped down version I guess.

I know this is nothing new, but I wish they would stop making everything solenoid actuated or pushbutton. A good ol' manual t-case and a more robust tranny. My other two 4x4's were an 80 series and a 3rd gen 5 speed T4R. Nothing electric other than the windows in those models!

WTF does thumb control on steering wheel have volume up/down on left/right and next track is up while previous track is down. Common sense next song = right, previous song = left, volume increase = up, volume decrease = down.

Even more annoying, when you’re navigating every other screen on the stereo the thumb control move the selection up/down with up/down until you are playing a song and on the track list, where now because next track is up and the next track is down in the list your pushing up now moves the selection down.

God damn this pisses me off to no end.

I believe it's due to how the screen is laid out. If the changed that, they would need the screen layout to match.

That might make sense (volume shown left to right) if the track arrows weren't shown as left and right also. :D

Oh ya, I forgot that part. Thanks for reminding me :mad::mad::annoyed:

The inconsistency in control scheme infuriated me.

It's a good looking head unit that just happens to do some squirrelly shit.

I still remember the first time jumping in a 3rd Gen. It's a slick looking interior, to me. The 2nd Gens were completely fine also, but I'm glad that I ended up were I did.

There's a write-up to swap out the wipers with ones that have intermittent wipers.

I have a SR. I have "manual" intermittent wipers. Not really, but just a quick lift of control arm with my index finger results in one swipe. Very easy.

There are several "wish" items on here that are trim level differences. So it seems we have some level of buyer's regret on option packages.

I do not recall if I said this previously, but since we are also choosing parts of option packages here goes.

2018/19 TSS on the 2017 Limited
Blackout option (including mirrors, flairs, bumper, door handles, and badges)
Option to get tech package without the big ass hole (moon roof)
Distinctive grille on Limited (not a SR5 grille with a changed color scheme)
Brilliant plan give one of the top 2 trim levels the same grill as one of the bottom 2 o_O
Front utility rail in the bed
Farming out of HU to a car audio company
Controls that are intuitive Left/right track control, up/down volume
Dynamic (speed adjusting) volume of audio, this includes guidance
Voice options for HU (I had a JVC with downloadable voice packs)
LED tail, interior, and indicator lights
    Better headlights
white lights that are the same color temp
especially if on the same side of truck
talking about you Headlights and fogs
Lighting for glove and console boxes

Just has low and high. Low is too fast for me most of the time. There's no pause at all between swipes.

It is pretty stripped. No tow package or tech package. All I wanted was backup camera and Bluetooth for my phone. But now...I want more lol. But I got a good deal

Just a minor point, there is a speed adjustable volume on my HU (Entune Premium). I am not sure if it does anything though?

The music MAY rise and fall with speed, I have not noticed it being too loud or soft due to changes in speed so it may. That may alos b a contributor the the issue with the navigation voice volume.

Adjust the navigation voice to highway speed/noise, then use it while traversing a low speed 20-25MPH neighborhood. The voice will be QUITE loud as it is not adjusted relative to speed. If there is a setting for this I am not aware of it, if so please enlighten me.
