    But, seriously there is usually some play in the factory spring coupler. do you have the factory coupler? or have you replaced with a solid coupler?

    When they spin. When you stand on it in traffic to jump into a spot. Then maybe you smell rubber. Someone was commenting on the smell of burnt rubber. I was providing context. I do seem to spin them more with the 2.6.

    how I wish I was only paying $3.60 for premium :annoyed: Lucky to find 91 for under $4 here. But...we do have a racing gas station in town with 110 octane for nearly $10/gallon though lol

    Agreed. Looks very much like the weakest point in the tensioner arm.
    I ordered one off Amazon so I can check it out further. A bit of strengthening in that area might be a good idea.
    I'd rather fix it before a potential break then possibly have to deal with it later.
    Who knows, maybe if I figure something out others might be interested an improved version.
