I survived kickboxing tonight! I had done this before when I was much younger but once I got into the kicks and punches it sort of fell into place.

Feels good to get a good workout in and do something fun and new even though the cardio killed me(which is why I went). Probably won't feel great in the morning but it's worth it.

Definitely do and I'll grab one with coffee in the morning. I also take vitamins every day for bone and muscle health so I think while I will be sore I will hopefully survive. Also drinking tons of water.

My brother did the personal training thing for a while, 7000 calories and two workouts a day. Dropped to about 10% body fat and 235 lbs. he still tries to get me to go. I would probably lift weights if they weren’t so heavy.

Beer and tacos are much lighter

My main goal is to just be stronger and build up some stamina. I feel like I've got some realistic goals and I don't need/want to be super skinny. My rheumatoid arthritis sucks the energy out of me and just sucks in general. I also lose strength due to it(imagine having to ask for help opening your own drinks)and so I want to fight that by working out and pushing myself to be better and healthier instead of sitting on my ass letting my body fall apart around me.

I understand that pain. The potassium, the vitamins, the kickboxing workout, all of it. The thing that helps me is good sleep. Do you dream? Dreaming means that you got to REM sleep. That's where your body does it's reparation process. When you hit REM sleep, your body repairs itself. Sometimes I take a simple anti-inflammatory before bed, and it helps. I wake up feeling better than when I went to sleep. Of course, I sleep with a CPAP to help with that, but the idea is sound.
