    My first year dorm was very near Cabrini-Green. In fact, I used to park my truck near there. Funny how Cabrini was a couple blocks from the Gold Coast.

    Its insane kinda. That place was built on the same location that the oroginal chicago gang wars were. It had bad ju ju written all over it. That and bad city planning amongst other things. Glad you made it out of there alive. In ‘93 thats about when they started sniping people from the highrises. Watched a documentary on that place.

    There were doing that then. My friend had the gas tank shot on his motorcycle as he was driving it. Have been back a couple times and it has changed quite a bit. It actually was a pretty fun town when you are young and I had a car. Had/has a really good music scene. The winters there are absolutely brutal.
