What makes yours so special vs one like this:

    https://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/cto/d/honda-civic-hybrid/6725807216.html

An IMA battery is about a $1000. These Civic hybrids aren't worth dick and many are likely taking less than what they're asking. The ad I posted the owner has recently replaced the IMA battery. If you think throwing money at a pleb car makes it more valuable to buyers you're sadly mistaken people expect that stuff to work.

I was never going to replace the battery, I advertised it as having a failing hybrid battery (it still works, just not very well).

$3,900 for a Civic with about the same mileage, and a new battery. A battery costs about $1,500 (with $500 for labor) subtract that and you get approximately $2,500.

That’s how I came to my price. I checked with dealers in my area, and similar Civics have sold for $4k on average.

If I decide to scrap it, then I’ll consider you.

You can use the cab, it’s just you can’t register it in California.

That was the old dude @eon_blue.

Doing all 4 wheel bearings is gonna cost you an arm, leg and probably a testy.

You could strip the front hub down/ get it off and have a shop press in/ out a new bearing and that would help cut some cost down.

I wouldn’t even attempt DIY the back, but that’s me.

the backs not hard at all.. its the damn tool thats a bitch to get your hands on. pulling the axles is easy if he wanted to pay a shop to press them together.

Which reminds me, @Tour991 lives in Nevada, so he could technically buy it and register it no problem
