Actually it was the Tacoma. He told me the first time he drove the Tacoma in weeks was to deliver my used parts washer to me at the BART station.

I guess he didn’t want to dirty up his Leaf.

He was very interested in my Kenwood headunit though, he made me write down the model number for it. He even gave me a free 5VZ Power Steering Pump rebuild kit.

 

Don’t tell me those are the same thing.

 

What’s wrong with them? They seem like good electric cars.

they are.. the black one is the one i put together today the other one is stuck fully compressed because the shaft bent inside when the housing was bent... its fucked.. that springs under ALOT of tension.. no clue what to do about it... dont want it thrown away because i could kill someone need to figure out how to dissemble it without killing myself

buddy that works at a nissan dealer says theyre nothing but issues in the winter.. little gremlins pop up and battery life goes to hell

no clue. hell i did a car that hit a fucking ladder on the highway at 80 mph and it did less damage than this

no. i think im going to rig up the airbag cage we use for detonating bags to protect me while i loosen the nut

 

That being said I’d rather be in a smart car than a Yugo.

 

I would like more information about this airbag cage.

 

im a serb... id rock a yugo..... with a toyota 5.7 swap

 

its just a cage to prevent you from dieing. you put the bag in and detonate. nothing fancy.. just a big chunk of steel

Sounds like fun. How do you detonate the bags, there’s an SST for that right?
