This pic may be a little much for the forum. It’s just boxers tho which is the same as swim trunks so it should be cool but

I guess I’m considered in the “cutting” phase due to my carb and protein intake. I been researching a lot and I’ll need to double my carbs and protein when it comes time to “bulk” if I ever do.

Wow, this thread blew up. I stopped getting email updates and I'm not as active on this forum anymore.

Awesome progress guys. That's awesome to see, and glad that tracking the food/macros has brought on the gaintrain.

As an oilfield worker who has to clock 7 12 hour days in a row (plus a 30min commute one way), then also switch sleep schedules every 7 days (I work nights 6p to 6a) I know how hard it is to get sleep. It definitely hurts my progress. But remember sleep = gains. Getting 4-5 hrs a night for 4+ days in a row will basically force your body into an overtrained state. It'll cause plateau's, decrease muscle gain, slow your metabolism, and increases your chances of getting sick which will definitely delay progress.

Not everyone gets the ability to sleep 8hr a night I know, best way to combat this I've found is take advantage of my rest days and try to cram in 8-9 hrs to catch up. Sometimes I take sleeping pills or nyquil to help.

Also don't forget to throw in a light week occasionally. I usually leave these for when life throws a curve ball in. Busy weeks, vacations, etc. are a good time to drop the weights 20% and have some light workouts whenever you can get them in.

Saw my first goal weight for the first time today after dropping a few deuces yesterday lmao. I’m sure I’ll go back to 191 by tomorrow but it’s teasing me. Only 10 more lbs to go until I get to start bulking

I mean go from like 175-180. Then gain some muscle to 180-185. Then cut back down. Repeat. Get more mass while staying lean. Not trying to be a twig or a bodybuilder. Still wanna be big. But with muscle. Idk. I’m figuring this out as I go.
