"Do it right" and "spacer lift" in the same post. Classic.

Some people just don't understand that what works on a full size pickup that never sees dirt will not work well on a midsize off-road vehicle with shorter CV axles and control arms

You can put “nice shocks” on your truck and a “spacer lift” under the springs (blocks). Will this look nice? Yeah it will be lifted in the rear I guess... will it “ride nice” no it will not. Blocks lifting leaf springs are never a good idea if you want to go offroad. They’re right ^ you can say “do it right” and put “spacer lift” in the rear of your truck. They suck. My truck had blocks when I bought it. I then installed a full OME Dakar leaf pack and extended Bilstein shocks. If you off road, then yeah you’re not gonna like the performance of a spacer lift. Don’t know what else to tell you. It’s strange to me that you’d buy proper UCA but you can’t spend $170 on some OME coils to lift your truck or maybe just some Bilstein shocks for $170? Even on road I feel that they don’t ride well and they are very harsh over bumps.

If you’re planning on going LT, I’m assuming you are gonna do a good amount of off-roading. If that’s the case, I wouldn’t recommend the spacers. They usually work fine, but only on trucks that don’t see much articulation in the suspension.

im wondering if leaving the spacers up front in would be fine and replacing the rear blocks with dakar springs it seems most of the spacer hate comes from the rear

I tend to think that the front spacers get the same amount, if not more, hate then the rear. Especially if the front shock with be compressing a lot.

For 3inch lift that isn't going to help an ioda, you are gonna spend quite a bit after ucas, longer shocks, alignment, spacers, blocks, beer and don't forget etc etc etc. I think the coil overs and springs would probably end up costing less and you would have a functional upgrade. However, this is America and you can spend your money on what you want...unless Ya live in Commiefornia like me.
