I also have the weather tech window guards.. easy install in about 10-15 minutes. watch the weather tech install videos on youtube makes it quicker to install when you've already seen how to do it. only thing I'd add is since the fronts go all the way down the channel by the mirror then form a little bit of a blind spot in those corners.. It may be just me because I'm 5'7" but something to note. AVS don't seem to have that issue from pics I've seen

Just a thought... I have the in channel Weather tech. My truck is rather new to me. My first camping trip my dog (lab Shepard mix) riding in back must have knocked the driver side deflector off. Now I have to buy a new pair of rears. I think I may try the stick on to see if maybe they last better with him. He goes everywhere with me!

I bought my Weathertech visors last year on a group buy on this forum. If you are not in a hurry, just keep an eye out for a group buy. Weathertech makes a high quality product, although their stuff is usually a few more dollars. I recall someone with AVS complaining about excess flashing on them, but you likely cannot go wrong with either.

Went with Husky floor liners over Weathertech due to better coverage (for slush and snow) on the driver's side, nubs on the bottom hold the passenger side from moving, and lower price than WT. I prefer them to the WT liners in my Forester.

Auroraboy, Did you find that the WT front visors were in the side mirrors sightline?

No. Never experienced that problem. I'll have to look tomorrow to see how close the visors are to obscuring view in the mirrors.

Great information. Was curious as well about the WT visors. May go AVS as well.

I ended up putting AVS on about a month ago. Really like them. No complaints.

I opened up my AVS in channel visors today. First 3 were perfect. Last one had a small crack and chip...:annoyed: It’s not huge, but noticeable when you look at it. Sounds like I can return them for a new set. Wish I could just replace that one so I don’t have to risk having others come back damaged ha

Other than that they looked great!

Has anyone had any issues with the WeatherTech vent visors pushing the weatherstripping out? It is doing this on the backside of the driver and passenger side front windows only.

The place I bought them from installed them when I had the truck in for other stuff. I double checked myself and they are installed correctly.

I have a 2017, and have had the Weathertech visors in for about 1 year, and see no evidence of what your pictures show.

Thank you for the response. I’ve never had the issue on other trucks either. Hopefully a few other will chime in and if they don’t have the same problem I’ll just take them back for a refund.

Yep, I just had this happen with the pair I just returned, albeit on the inside of the door but the same pattern. I didn't like the fit at all and they blocked more of my view than I cared for. Trying AVS in-channel next.

What exactly do the window deflectors do?

Deflectors, they allow you to crack the windows without letting rain in.

I have the AVS ones and they helped reduce the wind noise when going 60+
