    Yeah...
I'm with a welder again today. So, I'm idle until he's done, and the parts are cool enough to assemble(couple minutes).
Then, we both need to cut fence and bail.

Dog took off out the back door after something while my wife was take her out, enough leash slack, and being unprepared, she took a ride down the stairs.
Need to go home(1.5+he drive) and deal with that ...
She's banged up pretty good. Tore her ear, etc. She told me to stay and finish the repair, THEN come home....

Guess we're not going to the cape this weekend

    Thanks.

    At ER now.
    She doesnt remember falling/impact.
She has 0 or 00gauge plugs in her ears. When she hit, looks like it snagged, and pulled through or something...

They're cleaning her ear up, debating whether to sew her ear up.

Not going to the Cape this weekend.

Sucks ya'll are missing the cape but happy to hear she isn't that bad. Hopefully you can relax tonight on the couch or something, you've had a long week and sounds like your lady could use a lay down as well.

Concussion...See if she can get a sample of Zofran generic. Stuff works like magic for halting post concussion nausea...I got my bell rung sweetly playing flag football a few years ago...I thought I tripped and hit my head on someones knee...Actually my cheek hit the back of someones head "coconut sound" and I'm on the ground...It made me so sick about 3 hours later...Puking and nauseated. We had some Zofran sitting around from a previous vomiting illness and I tried one...30 min later I'm eating chinese food.

As far as the dog, you can work on training to keep it from running out the door. We have our dog in school now and this is one of the things they teach. It's basically a reward system that conditions the dog to sit and wait at doors until you tell them to exit or enter...To prevent you from being injured in the way she was...

Good luck with the fall out. Your weekend is going to be rodeo...

    We're home.
She will live. No chasing in on life insurance.....

The dog(Alley) is usually really good. On the leash she's a dream. Off the leash, she's a 35lb missile.
But she is a rescue, and gets skittish sometimes, and will have random moments of prey drive.
I'm not really all the clear on what happened, and neither is Tiff for that matter.

Dog is on prozac, and has a little ways before more training can happen. But, working on another rescue now, that seems to be okay with. Belgian malinois mix.. and I will have to continue her training at an aggressive pace to keep her on point.
So, @tacobell007 may take you up on that. Been doing some research on working dog trainers in the area.

I need to take some responsibility, as I have temporary stairs out the back door. There is supposed to be a deck back there, but, that is on hold until spring.

    Anyway, thanks guys.
All is well... ear looks pretty gnarly though....lol
