Oh man, that's a tough one since it's at the gf's house at the moment. Rough estimate is approximately 50-60"L x 25"W x 8"D.

So, not sure what’s going on with this run but as of now my Saturday plans have changed and I’m thinking of heading out Sunday to Anza. If there’s enough interest, we can run Oriflame.

If not I’ll run another trail in the area. Who was planning on heading out Sunday?

Have you gone down "The Slot"??? I've been down it and it was fun for sure as the rest of the trail.

I have not! Definitely looks like a place to check out. I haven’t explored that area too much.

Going down "The Slot" is interesting with the brakes!!! Your rear end, more or less, is slipping down the hill even though you are stepping on the brakes?!:goingcrazy: You might notice what I'm talking about when you finally do it. HAHAHA,:laugh::rofl::rofl::rofl:

It is definitely a fun trail.

Calcite Mine has deep ruts and good sized "step-ups/downs". I do NOT recommend more than 5x rigs though on that trail.

Unfortunately, they bulldozed the moguls on the Borrego Mountain Wash drop-in. Some newb probably rolled their brand new Taco, 4Runner or Jeep going down it. Now it's so smooth they have idiots in compact cars going down it and getting stuck at the bottom(not kidding). It's nowhere near as dramatic as it was. Still nice scenery, though.

Yeah. That's how it's been most of the year. They also graded Goat trail. I thought it would go back to being rough and rutted out, but it never did. I actually have video proof that I was the last person the drive that trail before they ruined it, too! Haha.

How about, I believe it is the north side, of Coyote Canyon Trail? I've always wanted to do that one, eventually.

Not sure what it's like now. We went out specifically to do that trail a couple months ago and it was closed for the season so the bighorn sheep could drink. Forgot they do that. So we turned around and went over to do another trail that you and I camped on once and it was swamped by the sand dunes from the wind.
    LRG_DSC07394.jpg IMG_6739.jpg
My friend's Lexus doesn't have locking diffs, so we decided to not chance getting him stuck. It was only about 100 yards of deep sand, but it was going to be a LOOOOOOOOOOOONG 100 yards if he got buried and then I got buried trying to pull him through.

Did a spur of the moment night run out there last night. Doesn't look to have been graded. Scratched TF out of both sides of my truck due to having a drunk navigator bringing us off the trail haha. still was fun though.

    Sweet deal man!!! :thumbsup::fistbump:

So what trails did were you able to hit last night?

My truck is in some real need for some maintenance work... simple oil change, plugs wires, belts (the main one), ALL hoses and vac lines on the engine bay, and a few other items.

Anyways, just time/money needed... especially the monies part HAHAHAHA

Glad you were able to do that for sure though.:fistbump::mudding:

Honestly couldn't tell you what trails we hit. Got kinda turned around a couple times with my "Navigator" haha. But once you are up and running after maintenance lets hit the trails. I need to do a few maintenance items on my truck as well, but doing these last few runs makes me want to go out again today haha.

Will do. I have the belts and plugs already. So, it should be soon. My vac lines and such in the engine bay starting to have me worried... hoses are splitting pretty good at the endpoints.

Anyways, definitely sounds like a plan.

Ran Oriflame to Rodriguez TT today and then hit the S2 south to Diablo. Then headed down Fish Creek and up SandStone Canyon.
