Boomers are getting old enough to be put in a nursing home or finding out that they can't drive manual transmission on Sundays to launch the boat anymore.

There's a lot of classic cars, guitars and firearms that will find new homes in the next decade or two. Can't take it with you.

My 5-Lug has almost $2,000 for just sitting for two years without a registration renewal on the original plates.

Transferring the trailer into my name with a new California PTI plate, and a new title + registration cost me $212.

I would imagine most college police forces may have one laying around. For when they have to teargas some dirty hippy students.

Shows $126 for the one I need. Upstream,
Cali spec. $111 from Amazon, same price from Rock Auto.

Funny this came up. Have one saved in my cart cause I got a pending code a few weeks ago. P1130. When I get this code I clean my MAF & usually it doesn't come back. If it does I'll then change the af sensor. Last time I changed it was in 2010, $106 from Amazon.

I rarely warm up my truck but I'll never mash on it immediately, especially if the trans is not up to temp yet.

But I don't get codes for o2s though. I got a pending upstream code like 5 yrs ago, it never came back. Waiti g tk see if the pending code I got a few weeks ago actually trips a fault & CEL. If it does I'll replace the sensor. About due for one anyway.

You guys talking about O2 sensors?

Funny cause my P0136 code is back with a vengeance...I need to buy a rear O2 sensor. Hopefully it's just a bad circuit but I got a feeling it's got something to do with my supercharger still not running right. The O2 sensors were replaced about 40k miles ago so they weren't that old.

Be careful ordering denso parts on Amazon. Lots of knock offs. O2 sensors especially. Read the teviews thoroughly.

Funny you bring that up. I've never had to change my rear o2 yet. The front I had to replace in 2010 for the first time. Now it might be that time again. But the rear I have never got a code or pending code.

I'm wondering if I should just replace it anyway. IIRC the rear is cheaper & not as important like the af sensor.
