that didn't take you long lol

I'm going to have to pull the sensor out and look at it...if it's all dark and fouled up then it's probably an issue with my setup still. If its not, then the circuit got fucked up somehow but that's what I'm hoping for.

yeah the code I got is specifically because the circuit on the rear O2 is sending a bad signal to the ECU....in most cases it's because it's a bad sensor or the circuit got messed up somehow, but in some cases it can be because of running too rich or too lean to the point that it fouls that sensor up (and probably a bunch of other shit eventually). That's what I'm hoping isn't the case but given my truck's history, it could be.

I don't have any other codes though so that's why I'm hoping I might just need to replace the sensor and be good.

why do you think you need to replace your front O2 again?

Yup no surprise there. On ebay too. You can see lots of people selling Densos for only $50. If I did buy from Amazon it wouldn't be through a 3rd party supplier. I'm probably going to buy from Rock Auto though if I do need it.

damn I almost ordered one of those cheap "Denso" sensors on Amazon when I first got this code a few months ago...glad I didn't. Thanks for the heads up @Blue92

Oh then again you are SC with 7th injector.

Got a pending code for the front a few weeks ago. I get this like every couple of years (pending, not an actual CEL) due to a dirty MAF or when temp changes like summer to winter vise versa. I cleaned the MAF, it was dirty this time. If it does detect another fault & trips the CEL I'll replaced it. If the pending code goes away I won't worry about it until the next time.

that's what happened with my rear P0136 code. About 6 months ago it popped up as pending, I would clear it and a few weeks it'd be back. Only once it turned into a fully illuminated CEL. Cleared it when that happened and then for 6-ish months it never came back, figured the circuit must have righted itself or something, who knows lol. But I got the pending code again last week and then last night the CEL came on, so I'm going to replace it this time.

Back when I first got this truck it threw a P0171 and Toyota (under 3rd party warranty) replaced a bunch of shit trying to figure it out....O2 sensors, A/F sensor, spark plugs/wires, MAF sensor, etc. Didn't cost me anything and I figured hey, it's nice to get some new parts at least. But makes me wonder why the rear is bad already since it isn't that old. Oh well guess I'll find out soon enough

Yup, that many times after reseting I would replace it too. I was just curious cause I've never got P0136 before & have never needed to replace the rear yet. Maybe it is fouled up like you suspected.
