Just so you know, this works well and the AMPERE app said I was getting almost 800mah.

I upgraded to the Pixel 3 today specifically to be able to charge wirelessly. It comes in handy for long drives.

Sweet! Though, I won't be using the Qi Pad. Too happy with my DMM.

My 3 XL is set to arrive on Monday. Given the glass back and the experience I had with flawed XLs back glass, it will be my first phone to use a case. Just a thin one like yours:

The first phone I ever dropped was my original pixel.

    It was too damn slick.

    What is DMM?

Just picked up my pixel 3 at the fedex store. They failed to deliver this morning and were saying Monday but luckily I was able to drive over and get it.

If it's anything like the Iphone, it will charge well up to about 60-70% then it has a hard time charging passed that. Phone gets really warm too.

I have the Pixel 3 also. First phone with wireless charging. This morning I ran some errands and had the phone in the wireless charger for about 25 minutes and the battery went from about 78% to 95% when I got out.

As far as the phone it self, it's awesome. Upgraded from my OG Pixel I had since its launch.

XL coming Monday, hoping it's not too huge, if so I might return it. But if not will be my first phone that actually works with the Taco charger.

Its always better to get it bigger. I remember when I thought the 6 Plus was huge. I have an 8plus now and it feels small.

Did anyone upgrade from the Pixel 2? That's what I have now, and the first phone I ever bought full price (i.e. not subsidized through verizon). so it's the first phone I"ve ever thought about replacing somewhat early in order to resell it (usually ran my phones into the ground then waited six months after that using it in fury).

I just don't know if there's that much to gain going from the 2 to the 3. My pixel 2 has been great.

My wife has the Pixel 2. I'd wait for the 4 next year. It does have some new features, but unless you care that much about wireless charging, wait. A lot of the Pixel 3 updates are software updates that will get pushed out to OG Pixels and Pixel 2.

I had a Galaxy S6 with wireless charging an missed it.

That was a worthwhile feature for me to move from a Pixel 1. I skipped the Pixel 2. You could skip the Pixel 3 most likely without giving up much.
