nah he has a nice truck. I completely understand the view point but if you see and nice truck at the store or the beach that’s way different then someone snapping it at your house

 

True but I think a better approach from him would've been "hey guys here's a suggestion: post pics of trucks in public places only and not anywhere near working places and homes" instead of his little rant. But like I said, if someone don't like something just move on yaknow

 

You’re not going to get shit ripped off your truck from a TW post. You’re going to get shit ripped off your truck because you had full overland gear loaded up parked at the Waikiki Zoo or some equally dumb nonsense.

There are a lot of registered members from oahu on Tw. If you see a lack of participation, its because they don't want to participate. Posting pics of others people's trucks doesn't give them that option. But yes, its a free country. A little consideration for other's privacy would be appreciated.

I'd laugh pretty hard if someone called the cops for getting a picture taken of their truck parked in a public space. Completely legal and a huge waste of police time.

 

Someone buttered the wrong side of your toast this AM, damn lol. Nothing wrong with a 'spotted' thread, almost every major area has one on this forum.

 

hopefully the cops would laugh and ignore the call, too...people get too paranoid about stuff like that. As long as someone doesn't have their hands all over my truck, I could care less if they're looking at it. 99.9% of the time they're either a fellow enthusiast or just curious about the build. My dad always told me that you should always keep your hands in your pockets when looking at another person's ride, it's the universal sign that you mean no harm.
