You're auto tho, that ruins all hope of MPG when there isnt enough engine to turn both the tires and the slushbox at the same time

My pig on 33s and 4.10 can pull 21MPG still :/

 

im curious of what a 1st gen would get MPG wise with a 2nd gen 6 speed manual behind it... should bolt up...

 

No idea I like the A750 but I really cannot imagine it handling the 2.7 very well. Maybe the 3.4 but that a pretty underpowered pig too, it would skim a lot off the top.

 

My commute for a year was 50 miles a day of interstate. I have an 04 3RZ 4x4 5 speed. Averaged 22 mpg. Gone down to about 20 now that I do more city driving. I imagine my Goodyear Highway/all season tires help, but I'm surprised. Ive gotten as high as 24mpg on a longer trip with no stops.

 

Ill give you 600 for cab and 3.4 lol

3.4 doesn't make any power anyway, it's not like it's super stressed out after 450k of moving a micro truck around

im going to dick around with my old engine whenever i get the time to give it a refresh (not like it needed it). the 6 speed will likely end up behind it to see what happens.

dude. with the luck ive had with toyotas. id take any taco with highmileage.

my truck had 300k on it.
my corolla is running close to 720k right now on the original engine and transmission....

im pretty sure toyota makes good engine

Sound clip, I'm genuinely curious what that would sound like especially with the VVTi in the higher rev range. I want to get adjustable cam gears for the Z with the 270 grind cams so I cna have all the lope and grumble when the turbo unspools
