Suggestions on 3rd gen MT knobs that aren't outrageous like some I've seen. Want some more weight.

    Thanks!

crap where @elduder when you need him? hey man is that knob still for sale? it was like 800g, super heavy.

here's two disturbing pics of what i'm currently running, also super heavy and with an extension. the second pic makes me call this knob setup Vlad the Impaler. yeah i'll be re-doing the leather at some point but i have much bigger projects on my plate atm.

What finish is yours? Looks leather covered but I don’t see that option

no the actual knob is just powdercoat. i think he lists it as asphalt black. the wrap beneath is leather just to cover up the extension.

I got mine from Rick too, it’s really well made. I opted for aluminum and delrin, but he has heavier options too. I’m very happy with it.

honestly i am loving his work. my plan is to redo mine with a custom knob & extension in one at my specs. he is having no time for this right now and he's saying so everywhere i see him post. so, saving that idea for later. really nice seeing it all tho ..

I think it's just going to take a few cycles before I can find a comfortable rhythm.

Ever since I built the shop in my garage, work has been coming at me from seemingly every direction.

Once I tie up some of the promises I already made, focusing on knobs only seems like the prudent path.

Contact me in about 2 weeks, I'll be ready to go.

I still have it if anyone wants it. PM me. I actually just put it back in and am using it currently. Very smooth shifting.

Just be warned with aluminum, ti, metal knobs. They get burning hot in the summer. I’d stick with plastic, wood, or leather.
