So i was wondering if it was even possible to replace the 4.0L V6 tacoma engine for the 5.7 V8 Tundra Engine?

not trying to be an asshole, but if you have to ask, odds are you don't have the experience and/or equipment to do it yourself, and it will therefore be very expensive....but like they said, it's possible, just depends on $$$

What exactly makes it worth it?

You could always find a way to stick the Tacoma panels onto a Tundra (maybe velcro or duct tape, I'm thinking) then hack away the extra frame parts with a chain saw, and then have a body shop make it all purdy....probably be cheaper that way.

that's what the supercharger is for. it's easier, cheaper, and warantied by toyota. plus, with a v8, you'll have to beef up your suspension for the heavier motor, and with all the extra weight, it will no longer have the agility of a v6 taco, just better acceleration

Edit: dan beat me to it

Are you prepared to swap in a tranny, driveshaft, rear end, and probably suspension from a Tundra too?

Sorry, but this is a dumb thread.
