I never understood people who watched movies & have game consoles installed in they cars. Well game console more for show but still.

 

In a mini van or suv for the back seats is cool. But for the front it’s completely pointless, especially in our trucks because the radio is so low and out the way

I guess I just don't listen to music like I did when I was a kid or in my 20s. When I had my 99 Taco at 19 years old the 1st thing I did too was upgrade the sound system. These days I either listen to the morning show on the FM channel or NPR, lol. I've never used the CD player in my truck once in the 2.5 years I've had it.

True that. Speaking of which, only reason why I haven't upgraded my old HU. They don't make tilting face HUs anymore. I wanted an Alpine double din but they no longer tilt. Having double din full screen so low seems awkward to me. My single din Alpine has a tilting face & I love it but it's old.

To be fair those are both sounds that command a great deal of concentration, for better or worse

 

They have single dens that come out and tilt, possibly double dens too

I have seen some from manufacturers that I never heard of. Also not interested in those ones that are motorized that slide out of the HU then up. I'm kind of an Alpine fan boy. I've had nothing but Alpine & Clarions in past cars. Well my very first HU was a Kenwood but I sold it pretty quick.

I like kenwood, my hu and all the speakers are kenwood

 

I've blown like 3 Kenwood amps. Lol. My fault though.

 

That's a classic well known trick. My buddy's sand rail has a bug motor. I told him to do that he said hell no & told me to do it, I said hell no too. Lol

I’m wiring the trailer for shore and 120v with an inverted. I understand using Romex in a vehicle is a big no-no, right?
