I just bought my 2010 Tacoma and the only thing I don't like is the third brake light doesn't have a bed light to look in your bed at night. Anyone done a mod other than the one who put light in the cubbie holes? I would like to have it where the brake light is.

I think someone put LED strips along the sides of the bed...use the search function.

you can put your own pressure switch for the tail gate, or you can use a 12volt power source and add a toggle switch...

I'm going to be wiring mines into my snugtop sl keyless entry remote that way when I unlock the tonneau cover the lights automatically turn on when I close it shut they automatically turn off...

been a little busy so I haven't had a chance to finish this project...I will have more time in a week or so and update the thread once its done...:D

i really like this setup...but I got a tonneau cover and I want something a little more stealthy...

I'm still trying to figure out what I will do for my cb radio...at least where I'm going to be able to setup a quick connect/disconnect for the antennas...

another cool and simple setup...thumbs up

This same L bracket the guys above are using can be turned around. Simply install the light under the bracket which in this case was installed using the other end. It would work great especially over the wheel wells where they won't be in the way. You just need to remember to find a bolt/nut combination that won't stick up high.
