Not perfect but I figure if I seal it all up now I have less to worry about for now.

Little Brakleen goes a long way at cleaning paint off stuff. Rust Oleum Professional Red with a little clear Bed Liner for protection.

I will probably put a few more coats of clear Bed Liner to be safe. What color green Joe?

Just ordered a set of high caster UCAs for my pro... Going to see if it will reduce the amount of trimming I'll have to do with 285/75R17 and 17x9.5 -18/4.54bs wheels.

I'll evaluate and determine if I need to replace the pro suspension.

Got my JBAs installed and went to get an alignment this morning. I told them to max out the caster while keeping everything else as close to 0 as possible and this happened:

    UCA4.jpg

Getting that passenger side bolt out was hell. I ended up cutting some of the sheet metal with a dremel to get the tool up further. Still had like 1/16" interference and got it out with a punch. I think the original interference was like 1/2" or more.

I then used a breaker bar with an extension to lever it back in through the hood.

Yea, getting that bolt out is a bitch. I think this install is definitely a two man job. My guy used a pair of vice grips that had wide flat "ducks bill" type of jaw and grabbed that sheet metal and bent it out of the way. But when removing the bolt the other guy was in engine bay guiding and pulling it out. Then with the Installation it was the same in reverse. One guy in the engine bay driving the bolt and the other guy in the wheel well adjusting the correctly placed washed by tapping them and using a long center punch to align the holes of all the various components (washers and arm ends w/bushings).

I helped as much as possible but in all fairness they did all the work. But I was right up in it so I could learn. On the drivers side a wiring harness near the battery had to be moved out of the way. That was also a bitch to do. Access to the bolt securing it was super tight.

They spent a lot of time on the UCAs. I'm glad I invested the extra money though.

When I got the alignment done, the shop I went to was really pushing back on my requests for the angles I wanted. I could tell they wanted me to say "ok, just make it whatever the OEM specs are". This was odd to me because I know they've done work on all the vehicles of a friend of mine. And by all I mean a lot. And not all Toyota's. But I stood my ground and told them I was willing to wait as long as it took. Which in my case was nearly 2.5 hours. I think at that point he might have been trying to prove a point but whatever......... the end result was worth it and I would still recommend them to anyone, for any type of service, including a full lift install.

Oh, I think the colors are off because I saw them changing ink cartridges on the printer and could tell they were having problems. The numbers are all that matters though.

One issue I'm having is that the grease gun on the ball joint on the passenger side just squirts grease to the side (on the first pump). It doesn't seem to go into the fitting. All the others worked fine. I'm not too familiar with grease guns and fittings so I'm not sure how to remedy this.
