Amazing deal on Steel Braided Brake Lines!

Ok guys I just submitted the order for the first batch!
I fucked up and forgot about taxes but that's not your guys's fault so Ill pay for them out my pocket. The price is going to go up though so you guys from the first batch got lucky . If you want to reimburse me for the taxes that's fine otherwise ill bite the bullet on thist one. The taxes were $7.00 per set.

The lines should ship tomorrow evening

Well, yeah, but generally internet sales to somebody out-of-state are tax exempt, even under California law. http://www.boe.ca.gov/pdf/pub109.pdf (Under Common Exempt Transactions) I don't mind paying the $7, I'm just confused on whether you need to be paying it.

 

The guy runs a legit shop here in OC, and ofcourse the state wants the tax rev. He's selling them to me, and I'm passing the deal on to you guys that's why there's taxes involved. If here were selling them to you guys directly he wouldn't have to charge the taxes, but thanks for looking out .

Really only one reason for braided lines and that is for track debris.

1980's Vettes and we used different brake fluid then too.

 

Yes they are stronger and more resistant to debris.
The reason I like them is they do not flex or swell as much when the brakes are used providing better pedal feel.
I use them on my "Track truck" as wll and it makes a noticeable improvement to me in the pedal feel.

I feel the improvement is worth the cost.

 

^^^OH-MAN is correct. Ask anyone who has replaced their brake lines with SS lines and they will tell you it's one of the best mods they have done to their trucks.

 

Ok guys I just shipped your brake lines like 40 mins ago. Please keep me posted and I would appreciate any feedback that might improve this processs. I hope that you guys love your brake lines.

Or to your car.....Received my fronts yesterday. Appear to be nicely constructed. Correct fittings. Length is good. Now just have to find the rear ones I already have so I can get'er done. Haven't done the install but will take pics when doing so.(please, no one hold their breath, it won't be tommorrow)


Really, track debris? Who cares about that? The pedal feel is the main reason to do this but also for better braking, longevity of being wrapped in stainless, the tech beauty of ss vs. rubber, and how bout the increased safety factor of someone NOT being able to cut your brake lines like hot butter in a split second if they were so inclined without having more than just scissors or a pocket knife.

Just curious. You shipped on 6/23/10 it's now 6/29/10. I know U R in CA and I'm in NJ but how were they shipped ? Thanks Curious George.

 

Shipped via fed ex ground, I dropped them off on 06/23/10 after 5 pm so they didnt leave until 06/24/2010. It takes 4-5 business days to get to NJ. So, not counting the weekend, today is only the third day. I can PM you your tracking # if you like.
