    That’s what I ran on the truck for a while, Costco special. Great tires all around. I couldn’t wait for them to wear out so I sold them with the rims to a guy with a Ford Ranger.

    I had the exact same experience with Firestones I bought for my Camry. On the third trip back to Discount Tire, the tech told me he put the load bar on all four of them and they were some of the worst out of rounds he had seen. After I started to raise my voice in the waiting room about why they didn't tell me this on trips one and two, they promptly gave me full refund credit towards purchase of some Michelins that are awesome.

    Say what you want about Mercedes, but they sure know how to design an engine bay.

    Especially on German cars. I took what look at a W210 wiring diagram, and threw that shit at the wall. Toyota makes their diagrams so easy to read, a four year old can understand it.

    Mercedes assumes only German electrical engineers will look at their schematics.

    It’s actually roomier than my 3RZ. Electric fans, so there’s very easy access to the accessories. I’d rather change a water pump on this thing than my truck. There’s so much room in the front.

    @Sperrunner

    I can never do this in the Tacoma.

    Contrary to popular belief, Mercedes makes good reliable cars. It’s just when they break is when it sucks.

    Truck is cake, that Merc would test you before you even got to the WP. It would make sure you own every variation of torx before you could even get a good look at the thing. Can't imagine what garbage is in your engine bay in the truck making it so cramped, I can practically sit in mine.

    Easy access to accessories is what I’m talking about. I can stick both my arms in there with room to spare. Can’t do that in the Tacoma.

    5VZ has way more room. 3RZ sits farther forward.

    Oh, I can get my arms in there just fine, sometimes I take the fan shroud off but usually I don't. If your fan clutch isn't siezed you can stop the fan your hands not that I recommend it.

    It doesn't sit farther forward, it is a longer engine

    Well that explains the multiple dead headlights.

    So what's up with brake pads and rotors? And no I'm not doing a tundra upgrade. But I do have 13wl rotors new in box from my sequoia..
