    That’s not even the side that keeps dying. That bulb is fine, I just like changing them in two’s.

    It's less Tacoma and more mod
    Cause it is pretty expensive for eh performance over properly functioning taco brakes. Also on the later ones like his a booster swap is almost required for decent pedal feel.

    I always thought the brake booster swap wasn’t worth the hassle. I read I believe who was @Blackdawg ‘s results with the swap, and the results were that it didn’t make much of a difference - or something along those lines. I’m paraphrasing here.

    Oh yeah the LCA wears out hardcore and fast. Your bushings if theyve never been done are probably beyond toast and it contributes a lot to how everything feels. I gotta do mine but the Z comes first right now.

    After some campfire talk we determined the whole Tundy brake swap wasn't really worth it for any of the 4 that had done it, that said they aren't switching back, but for those that owned more than one Taco they wouldn't bother with it again. I drove their trucks and was unimpressed with the braking as well, it was just ever so slightly better than average taco brakes.

    It's a "fuck, no shit" moment when you finally do it, everything changes braking behavior, turning responsiveness, willingness to track and wander. I'm doing the whiteline poly lowers cause mikes felt so damn good. The uppers serve as a locator and don't receive the same direct force, it would probably help some on stock but you already have SPC with poly bushings so it doesnt matter.
