I've thought about it .I have a UWS on my old 96 taco but with my 2018 short bed my initial thought is it would just take up too much bed space .if that's not an issue for you, I highly recommend looking into UWS. Great quality and water tight .They ain't cheap though

I’ve got a .50 cal ammo can fixed to the bed rails. Not a ton more storage, but just enough extra for what I need since I have two car seats in the back and accessing beaneath the seats is difficult61EB23F0-A600-466C-B179-CF5376B9ED57.jpg

I bought a rollup bag and put some basic tools and supplies in it and it fits behind the rear seat.

I fit a lot under the seat.

If you remove the plastic liner it frees up a lot more space then put some sound deadening stuff down to help the noise
