@Taco Grinder,always liked the Brewers. I’m a glutton for punishment, Detroit Tigers 1st, Cubbies next.

 

So I was woke up yesterday by the wife coming in and telling me a tree just fell on the LP tank and tore a line out. She turned off the gas right away. (She said all she saw was $$ flying away in the wind) Called for service, I had the tree cleaned up by the time the tech got here. 15 min and he was done.
Let’s hope today is a little less exciting! Hoping to get the Pellet stove cleaned up and running.

 

Well that just sucks

 

Glad to see they were able to fix it right away. I haven't fired up pellet stove yet. I did run it in test mode yesterday just to make sure blower and auger motors work

In my 20s I worked at a furniture plant. They had a maching called the hog. It shredded pieces of wood into tiny pieces. That would then be used as fuel for the boiler. Sometimes my job was to "Feed the Hog ". Had to be carefull, sometimes the Hog would spit back.

 

we recycle every byproduct at work. paper even paper dust from my millhead saw. but scrap books in bins go to our hogger room. i bet its the same type of thing. it chops up low value scrap into little pieces. oh and the dust is watered and compressed into rock hard logs the size of a pringles can. they make great rifle targets.

Morning all - bright and chilly in Chi-town. Family involved at Church today - both kids serving and dad's the lector. Mom gets to keep track of all of us.
