I was there at 6 and had a beer but then had to jam. Saw your truck out front on my way out.

 

Hahah, I thought that was you. Told my GF ‘That’s a 3rd Gen, no way he isn’t part of the group’. All good man, if you want to check out the Drifter I’m free all day tomorrow except after 6pm.

 

Just saw the posts about revision last night, would have loved to have gone but worked late and had other plans after work already. I could make it tonight, or next week most evenings would work also.

Thinking about taking a quick run up to hunter lake today. Should I take garrison or whatever the trail is that heads up from the TMFD firehouse by Cabelas or should I head out through caughlin?

Felt kinda bad leaving these guys but I did lend them my shovel and let them use my rig as an anchor but their winchline broke. Hopefully I get the shovel back seeing as I left them with it to dig out.

 

Were they even on the trail?

 

It looked like a trail ran through there but I'm sure it was one some other dumb ass bushwhacked.

I did get a chuckle out of the paper plates.....

 

Was that up top in the meadow?

 

Not the meadow with the timbers blocking it. It was out a little further than that.

 

gotcha... I remember several years ago before they put the blocks up there were people that drove right through the meadow by the "lake" was just hoping it wasn't a similar scenario.

Hard to tell where it was but In any case, not like there has been any moisture through here recently, definitely looks like someone was going where they shouldn't have been.

 

The 'trail' came down the hill and turned across the creek but it certainly wasn't one you'd fine me on.

 

The elk is in 48 and the antelope is in 75 on a ranch called Clear Creek Cattle Company.
