That sounds right, as right as an internet diagnosis can be. Generally when it's the throw out bearing making noise, it's when the clutch pedal is pressed. And it makes the whir/whine in all gears except 4th, right?

Live and learn brotha. That's happened to the best of them... I say them, because it's never happened to me.

But now that I talked a little trash... I have a bunch of Mobile 1 and Lucas Oil Stabilizer that's waiting for me to be motivated to do an oil change. Who knows, Karma is a bitch lol.

Keep your head up tho

And you saved yourself a half quart for the refill?! Sounds like a win to me:thumbsup: at least you're cool enough to put it up on the internet knowing you'll likely get roasted and the internet never forgets

Then I'd probably lose my shit laughing at myself.

Anyone know a better place (than LowRange) to get the Oring seals for the manual dial faces?

Fuckers have the Orings listed for $5.25... but the cheapest shipping they list is over 10 bucks. Are you f'n kidding me? Put them in an envelope and put a couple extra stamps on it... $10+ for Orings???

Is the size generic enough that you could source through a Grainger or something like that?

Not sure. And I'm hoping I don't have to go through the trial and error of sizing them. If they are too skinny they'll let in water, too fat they'll make it s bitch to turn the selector.

I'll probably just curse a bunch and pay the $10 shipping before I'd do that.
