    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

The hubs look to be in really good shape. No evidence that any water or dirt got in them. All the teeth look brand new. The bearing on the back of the hub dial body is smooth as silk.

I'm just going to shoot the selector dial and trim with some high heat paint and call it good. (Probably doesn't need to be high heat, but I have a can of silver and a can of black, so I'll use it)

No reason what-so-ever to buy new hubs.

Oh they’ll be fine, I just wanted to be extra and rebuild the old ones with a new pawl and clutch. The springs do wear out.

Springs appear to be in good shape too. They definately put up good resistance when using the dial.

Really the problem is that o ring, my old one rotting gave a lot of resistance in the dial. You’re good to go.

Who knows how long they will stay that way... But they will look good when they get installed.

I think it was definately worth the little extra effort. Especially since I already had the paint sitting on the shelf.

Found this kit on Ebay. So, there's another 20 bucks.

I'll tell you what, all the little odds and ends of this swap are definately what is going to make it so expensive. But, I'm ordering all the new gaskets, seals, etc, to make sure this is done 100%

Lol... not even sure yet. Still haven't made up my mind on whether I'm going with a reman trans or a salvage trans... and I'm not sure if I'm going to go with an ARB locker, Spartan or TrueTrac, or no locker.

And my budget will ultimately be determined by the size of the bonus check I get in December.

Right now I'm just trying to get some of the small stuff worked out and done before I go full bore in December.

Always pretty disappointed with what 100 bucks gets me at the stealership.

    Diff/manual axle tube seal
    Diff fill plug
    Diff fill crush gasket
    Diff drain plug

So here's an update of "the list."

The parts I currently have are the ones highlighted yellow.

Ehh, I spent $50 for 4 bolts and their corresponding nuts and washers when I did new leaf springs. Dealership prices.

Still not sure I'm getting a salvage trans/t-case. I'm leaning at getting a remanufactured trans. Wont know what my budget on that is till I get my bonus in December.
