Must business do flat rate charge, even online stealership on a 2 buck part. Sorry, it's business. Maybe driving there to pick it up is cheaper?

But yes, an envelope will be cheaper and ideal.

Oh, I know the reasoning behind it. Not driving to Idaho to pick up Orings... thus, I'm asking here if anyone knows someone else that sells them.

I've had something just as bad happen...when i changed the oil filter on my wife's car the old gasket got stuck and didn't notice until i started her up and heard oil spraying everywhere lol.

I ALWAYS check the gasket now...on the old filter and the replacement.

40 bucks in shipping? That would be a rip off. The size and weight of those bushings would fit in a $10 flat rate box.

But for the bushings themselves... I paid $62 for just my LCA bushings (Whitelines) with zero shipping from Amazon.

This is indeed something I would do, and have previously done. Throwback to one of my first threads on this forum.

Full strength degreaser from Home Depot will take care of it, I let it soak into the concrete for a few hours and scrubbed it away plus pressure washed it.

Here's a question for the group. (hopefully @foxrcing07 @Blackdawg or others will chime in... Morgan and I have already talked about this a bit, but didn't have pics for comparison loaded vs unloaded)

This is a pic of how my truck is currently set up, and loaded with my current gear.

This is a pic of how my truck is currently set up, and unloaded (except what I carry everyday)

My set up is a set of Wheelers 1.5 inch add a leafs and I also added a middle leaf from a 5 lug Tacoma. I am currently running the rock catchers (overload springs).

I want to add some height in the back. I want a bit of a rake. I would also like to lose the rock catchers (for better articulation AND because with the addition of the AAL and other leaf with the rock catcher my Ebrake cables are laying directly on the leafs).

I just bought adjustable lift shackles. My thought is I can remove the rock catchers (lose around 3/8-1/2inch) and then set the shackles for 1.5-1.75 lift and get back what I lost losing the rock catchers + giving me the 1 inch rake I want.

With the exception of adding an RTT this winter, the loaded pic is basically the weight I carry, and as you can see, the rear doesn't sag much with the load I carry.

So the question is... do I really even need the rock catchers?

I don't know what kind of bushings they were. But 40 bucks for 8 bushings doesn't sound like a bad deal.

So what’s the deal with these valve cover gasket bolts. I replaced my gaskets 100,000 miles ago,
I’m getting the supercharger worked on so when I took it off I see a tiny bit of leaking so I decided to just replace the valve cover gaskets since I’m in this far. I swear the bolts were sooo loose ALL of them, didn’t even need a ratchet to get them off and I know I torqued them to spec
100,000 miles ago. How is it they all have come so loose, I can’t get to all of them to retighten them once the supercharger is back on.? Any trick to keeping them tight?

Also I’m pretty amazed at how clean the top of the heads are too with ZERO sludge.
I guess 3000 miles oil changes are part of that, looks new still in there.

I’ve only had 2 of those moments that I can recall.

    That I’ve felt this dumb.
