I like it. It has a high abv at like 12.7 but doesn’t taste super boozy. strong coffee notes and very smooth.

A little better than Dragon’s Milk if you’ve ever had that.

Overall average on Untappd is 4.16

Nice brown ale on this Sunday evening. I’m on my 3rd and I am quite a fan of this brew.

I'd say it's pretty similar to KBS.

Had to read up on the Kentucky Common. Do you use the Krausening method? Looks to be an interesting step. But then I don't brew so a lot this wows me.

It's one of those long lost brews you don't see too often these days. No krausening on mine; I just kegged it with CO2 and called it good.

Smoked a pork butt the other night, which yielded a shit-ton of pulled pork...

    20181020_171158.jpg

Which brings us to dinner tonight: pulled pork tacos with homemade pico de gallo and cilantro lime rice. Washing it down with my caramel apple cider...

Me and the boy out drinking. He’s such a lightweight.

He apparently likes the Mexican lagers. As for me I like em hazy.
