I'm happy with the black anodized. springs are blue though. i know it's a little blasphemous but i swapped them with icon springs.

Yeah, I was told they were blue too. Black was my first choice anyway, so it's kinda working out. Also, good thing for me I'm in the car industry and have friends who work for other suspension companies, might get a pair of Swift Springs that are black. Was also thinking of having them cerakoted gunmetal which is kinda like powder-coating but applies thinner.

I had the same experience. According to the vendor, they claimed another set they checked in stock had the same marks and what not.

I contacted King over the phone, and they didn’t seem to care. Was told to email photos over and no reply. lol

Just feels weird to pay a good amount of money to have a product come directly from a manufacturer with “imperfections”

Glad I'm not the only one experiencing this. Hopefully mine will be resolved soon, and my replacements come in ASAP. Told the person who I was dealing with the replacement gotta be flawless.

When we installed these on our Gen3 build in May, we learned real quick the King supplied 15x550lbs weren't going to cut it with armor, winch, group31 AGM....etc. They don't make other 15" springs sizes with a 3.75" diameter for these 3.0's, the Kings 16x600lbs weren't going to be enough... so we took a chance and installed 16x650lbs Eibachs (This is who everyone uses for springs) w/3.75" diameter for the 3.0 shock body. Zero threaded pre load needed, collar all the way to the bottom to avoid coil bind with such a long spring on a mid travel shock. Happy medium vs. a 700lb spring. To date -no coil bind. Gives right at 3"'s of lift (with no preload needed) and balances well with the RXT leaf pack set at option 2 in the rear w/ 3.0's King rears. Minimal body roll with a sway bar delete too.

I would suggest this route as well. You might need them but I wouldn’t put them in unless you do.

To answer your question I installed and had rear vibes and went 3 degree for med dakar. Vibes gone

This might be a dumb question.
Had anyone added spacer lift on top of the coilover?
I was reading 2.5 is the sweet spot for the kings so why not add 1/2” of spacer to get 3” of lift which I want the lift to be at?That'll prevent adding too much preload on the coils.Or is it unsafe?

Because it'll effect the geometry of the suspension. It'll loose a lot of droop. For the record the sweet spot for the Kings is actually 2" of lift not 2.5" Last that much preload with the spacer gives a really crappy ride. I did that with my Foxes going from 2.5" to 3" and quickly took it off.
