    It's a regular pickup truck not a boat. Have some decent tires and respect for the weather and those around you and you'll be fine. Maybe a shovel too

    I just keep driving it - daily. I put new tires on cause my OEM's were shot, but I don't add any RV antifreeze :rofl::rofl::rofl:.

    All stock. Have not touched under the hood except for an oil catch can and TRD CAI. Also use Amsoil 5W-30. Driving up north is for 1-3 days only. May not even be snow there but cold for sure. I have E rated tires 275/65R18.
    No chains, recovery boards or winch. I have a working phone...:).

    Yep, fully winterized. Block heater, oil pan heater, battery blanket, with a plug on the front to plug it all in to an outlet, and the coolant mixed for -62F or colder. I believe the gear oil is changed for synthetic too, but I don't remember exactly. Swapping the stock Hankook garbage tires for Cooper AT3 4S's to try to avoid the expense of swapping tires 2x a year, hope that experiment works out... If not, I'll probably get Cooper M+S's studded or blizzaks.

    it should be okay, but something to keep in mind. or swing by an auto parts store, they may check it for you.

    Why are you using heavier than stock oil?

    Where the heck are you going that you think you'll need a full-on recovery setup for a dusting of snow that'll melt by noon? :confused:

    The only thing you have to be concerned with is your tires. Tires that have been baking in the Arizona sun are likely to be hard as bricks and are probably going to have garbage traction on ice and snow. MT's are worse that AT's too.

    If your truck's coolant is still the factory fill, there's a 99% chance it's fine for any temps you'll experience in Arizona. Feel free to check it just in case, but damn...
