Western MA might be the bigger debate.

I'd argue I-91 is the cutoff, so Amherst isn't Western MA and the Quabbin definitely isn't.

Are you in his only rental property?
What always annoyed me about renting was when it came time to plow. Seemed like the landlord had a camera to see when I had gotten home, parked, and come inside & stripped all of my outdoor gear off. 20 seconds after I opened a beer, there he was, wanting me to gear up again and move my car so he could plow

Haha funny you mention that. After day three of him not plowing last year, I may or may not have "accidentally" parked about 3 feet crooked on the front lawn.

    It's a duplex.

    They're the neighbors.

Upstate is more of a term used to segregate the majority of the beautiful state of NY from the stench and hell hole that is NYC. Geographically, I would argue anything north of Albany is 'upstate'.
Potsdam! That's my college stomping grounds. There's not a lot up there, that's for sure!
    Meh, anything west of 495.

The diner in Potsdam have good and massive pancakes. I ordered 2 and when they came to the table my coworker said "that's the first time I've seen a place measure out mix with a beer picture"

There used to be a little hole in the wall place there called Caroline's. You could walk in there with $5 and walk out stuffed to the gills with change in your pocket. If you could put down 3 of their pancakes, you got your picture on the wall. I'm pretty sure it closed down right after we graduated though. I just checked google maps, it seems a lot of the restaurants up there have changed names and lots of new chain places have popped up. Have you ever stopped in at Sergi's pizza? It used to be damn good pizza, not sure if they've slipped or not, it was all family run. We used to live right across the street, above what was a music shop at the time.

Entertaining the idea of switching the cap rack from the Prinsu to a front runner rack to match the front.
It's a shortbed rack with the matching prinsu standard height legs (6 of them I think for the added support). They have have plenty of stuff mounted and strapped down to them so the black anodizing is chipped here and there but overall structurally it's solid. I just want a matching setup.

I wonder if Front Runner ever does black friday sales or anything similar...

So I understand this idea, there is a lot of land still west of Amherst but I grew up in the area and just have no idea what to call it then. I consider Worcester area as Central MA so is Belchertown/Amherst West-Central MA?

413 area code is western mass.
    End of discussion.
I work out of eastern mass, and they think NY starts after 495.

Was out looking for some new hunting spots a few weeks ago. Found a few hard wood stands that promising. Only trouble is PITA getting in and out.
CLASS VI, got pretty rough. Bumped skids a few times on the way back through.

The massachusetts business people have already defined it...but I go with western ma as anything Pioneer valley and berkshire...But my belief is that anything west of the line that goes brookfield, barre, templeton is western ma if you ask anyone who lives east of worcester...

Pretty much the way I look at it, except by counties. So Berkshire, Hampden, Franklin, and Hampshire Counties would be western MA in my opinion.

Need to find a way to make an adapter from my orbital sander, to my shop vac.
Old house, really don't want to kick up too much dust...
