Is there a roll call yet of TW members that would want to try and find a camp spot together?

I’ll be in the central vendor area next to the bonfire, primitive camping is just to the east. In other words first come first served.

Looks like it’s going to be a coooold night for camping tomorrow night. Luckily I have a tent and won’t turn into an icicle in my hammock like last time!

Anyone going to the Rendezvous and wants to meet up, send me a PM :)

FYI, they're reporting Highway 23, 15-miles north of Ozark, is temporarily blocked due to a tractor-trailer accident. May take awhile to clear

    Yeah.
Can't tell if that's north or south of the turn off to Byrd's. But sounds like a mess that a lot of folks might get caught in -- and maybe find a back route through the forest!

Dave and Elisha were headed East on 40 from LR yesterday and said he saw no less than 10 outfitted rigs westbound, assuming they were inbound to RITA

I think I'm glad I missed today....It hasn't stopped raining once. I might have to take my truck to the airplane hangar to have a dry place to put my bedding inside my tent

    Copied from my build thread:

Visited the Rendezvous in the Ozarks and had the first shakedown with the RTT. I loved it! I figured out some ways to make it more comfortable for next time, and I can't wait to go camping with it again soon. There just so happened to be a fly-in happening this weekend as well, so I got to see a few cool planes too :) I didn't take hardly any photos of what we were doing, but I'll share what I got.

I started using the Gaia app for trail navigation and it was awesome. I should have bought this subscription a long time ago! I bought a cheap suction mount to use as a trial. I'm now going to order an X grip iPad mount.

We camped with an awesome group from PF Adventure, a company based in the Tulsa area that sells a whole lot of overlanding gear. They were displaying gear on new Tacomas and 4Runners and I caught a serious case of the "I wants." I couldn't have asked for a better group of people to BS around the campfire with. Oh, and @Pistol Pete and @PinnaclePete were there too :)

I've never seen so many rigs parked so close together, but space was at a premium at this event! Finally, I was included in the RTT gang

Here are the only pictures I took on the trails... Some were mild, some were more technical.

Finally I got tired of looking at trucks with big tires so I went to look at planes with big tires

    Yeah.
Looks like a big crowd there! Sorry I missed it. And they still haven't finished my pool -- putting the rest of my fence back together today and plastering tomorrow.

Got my annual oil changes done, first time with these new cartridge filters. It's actually a cool design (as long as you have the right tools). The 4Runner is a bit of a pain with all the underside protection in the way, but the Taco was a breeze -- they put an access panel in the skid plate for the oil filter. With the 10k intervals and how much we drive, just doing an annual change should be more than sufficient.

    Yeah.
I did my 2012 every 5K as well, but my daily commute was over 50 miles total back in STL. I'm creeping up on 4800 . . . so even if I take a couple long trips a year, I still probably won't break 10K annually. Wife averages 5-6K on hers per year (we take hers on any trips to see family, which is a lot of that). Figure it's easier to just do it once a year and call it good.

How'd you fare at RITO? Make any good sales? Buy any cool stuff?

RITO18 was better than last year...more rigs 295, more people 600+, more rain :rain: and more sales. Paid for my raffle donation X3 and made some good business contacts to buy and sell more stuff.
