I'm so glad I took the LCA skids off.. they're cool and all but they act like a spoon and scoop up crap. I could only imagine how bad it would be with ice...

Whats this Rhode Island spot yall are talking about? @Bruce988jl How does it compare to the Dorset trip?

Might be a bit of a haul for me, but the first weekend in Nov is still open at this point  Might be fun if its not too hardcore

Getting to and from the caves from the main street is similar if not easier than rhode island... the part we did after that was about the same if not a bit harder than the rhode island spot... those switchbacks that apparently I only got stuck on cause of my fat a$$ is about equivalent to some of the harder sections of the trails in RI - most of which have by-passes

There will definitely be less pin striping in RI haha - in my opinion it's not worth the drive - much more fun things up where you are.

I'm always down to clown when it comes to Northern ME!

I actually have been meaning to plan a Golden Rd trip! Shooting for sometime in the next few months. Probably December. Ideally not too long after first snow so some bushwhacking is still possible.
Doesnt sound too bad. Less pin stripping is good! Though I made it through that tiny ass trail in VT haha
What town is this RI thing in? Might actually be closer to me than Dorset, depending on what part of RI

We don't normally disclose trail locations on a public forum however it's near the threeway border of an 'island' state, CT and a heavily taxing state... if that isn't anymore specific.

Yup I wasn't asking for specifics. Just enough to know that that would actually be closer to me than Dorset! Given all that I'm interested if this does end up happening
