Yeah, I still tease him about his bald spot, too.

I remember sitting next to him as the ER doc was stitching up his head and he's like "okay son, we're making some headway" and my brother says "no pun intended, right doc?" but the doc was concentrating so hard that the joke didn't register for a while.

 

Jesus christ man, I assume you aren't married, as that would have been the perfect excuse to tell the wife you "need" new parts...

Wouldn't be the first time I would have told my wife "[thing] is broken, I 'need' a new [widget]."

 

To wife:

"You're broken, I need the newer model."

 

There was another time when I was in college, where my brother and I and a few others had been out boozing it up, and we drove by a car vs bike incident. Most of us had at least some sort of first aid, WFR, etc.., but most of us were also drunk/buzzed, and there were people already stopped. So we actually kept driving. I felt guilty for a while but honestly it would have been worse for the victims and for us had we stopped and tried to administer aid while intoxicated. Would'a been a stupid move.

 

Damn I was at a yard with a cherry 4runner yesterday and that part was there. Not sure if it was clear, was a 98 runner

 

Yeah, I'm old enough, not good looking enough, and not rich enough to know that's not really in the cards, lol

 

I think it was only the very end of the 3rd gen 4runners that had the same climate control faceplate as the 01+ Tacoma’s.

 

Honestly seems decent, it's nothing special but can't beat a good runner for 1k
