It just read like he was saying he remembered when he was making very little money, when comparatively we were probably making the same.

My old neighbor (who owns the Sienna) likes to chase people away with his shotgun, it's funny.

Not on the property, I had my Civic parked on the public street. That's why I was worried.

    Excuse me?

There is no shortage of parking on my street, I live on a circle and there's no houses in front of me. We only have four cars combined as a household, the neighbors has almost ten combined since they rent the rooms out. I parked it in front of my house, where my truck is usually parked but since I took the Tacoma to SF, I put the Civic there.

The HOA is just strict, and regularly has the CHP come by to tow cars away.

Legally you can't park on a state owned road if it's not registered since they haven't gotten their use tax :luvya:

I put money towards the registration when I transferred the liability to my name, I just never completed the title transfer process.

    Seriously, man?

I put money towards the registration, I just never finished the title transfer because it won't pass SMOG since the monitors aren't ready.

Just so ya know... we ain't exactly at the top of the food chain.

People get mauled by raccoons, let alone the actual apex predators...

Hell, I've seen (not personally witnessed, mind you) hunters with guns n stuff get mauled, so even our big brains and weapons don't necessarily land us at the top, lol....

When I was ~5 years old my neighbor chased me off his yard while holding his shotgun (might've been a rife I don't really remember). I told my parents about it but they didn't believe me, to be fair though I used to sneak into his yard as a kid and steal the pears off his tree and one time I started to pull the pin striping off his mini van before my parents caught me. I sort of had it coming.

    It's also illegal.

That depends, usually on local regulations. I'm not aware of a statewide regulation, though. A lot of times you are required to have valid registration if you're parking your car in view of the street.

It's to keep people from parking a bunch of non-op, non-registered shitbox vehicles in their yard all hillbilly style. I think neighbors of people who have a bunch of POS cars on blocks in the front yard would agree that it's a blight on the neighborhood, lowers property values, etc...

I don't think anyone wants this as a neighbor.

I never said you were wrong.

And I did answer your question. It can’t pass SMOG because the monitors aren’t ready on it. I put money towards the registration when I completed the liability transfer.

That's kinda like saying I paid for half the meal, shouldn't I get to eat all of it?

Okay, let’s drop it. I made a mistake, and I was wrong.

    Can we move on now?

    Sorry everyone.

So my inlaws are asking for Christmas lists early. Thinking of getting a Milwaukee power ratchet since they are damn handy. What size do you get think 1/2" 1/4" or 3/8"? The 1/2" and 1/4" I can get the brushless motor on (Fuel series) but not the 3/8".
