The stuff works great on engines that sit a lot. I use it on all of my small engines. (mower, generator).

For a daily driver it will still clean the fuel injectors and stuff and make a small difference. I like to put some in the oil about a week before I change it, and some in the gas. That way any gunk cleaned is removed when I change the oil.

You wont see a change unless you have something fuel related clogged. Throwing a can in doesn’t hurt anything.

I know it says oil on it but it has never occurred to me to try it in oil. Well now I have to. Good thing too since my oil change is coming up this weekend.

Bought a can put just under half probably 6 ounces in the oil decided to pull the vacuum hose from the brake booster and suck the rest up in the fuel system. Didn't get as much smoke as I expected. Is it normal to not get a ton of smoke like some people have shown? Did get some but it didn't come out of exhuast mostly out of front.

As long as oil is chanced at reasonable intervals. There’s no need to add it to your oil. Any fuel system cleaner with PEA is all you need.

I'm not sure how well it maintained prior to me. My father had it about 2 years and I know during that time he probably kept up on it but he was getting sick. He ended up passing away ehich is when i got it. Prior to that not much info on previous owner/maintenance but seems to be in decent shape overall. Doing the first change since I had it this weekend and figured it wouldn't hurt to add a bit to the oil like some here suggested since I was gonna do the fuel system clean anyways.

I have never added it to the vacuum system. Again it works best on engines that have sat for a while. Like a boat motor that has not run in 6 months. In those cases it will clear up any gelled/old fuel and deposits. On a regularly ran engine, it can help clean it but most likely there is not much to clean.

I've used it in other vehicles in the past through the brake booster vaccum line. In a 99 Grand Am with 145K miles. I saw tons of carbon smoke coming out. I didn't really notice a significant change but maybe more of a peace of mind that things are a little cleaner and some of the Carbon is now out in the driveway. I might get a can and run through my Tacoma (14 with 75k miles) but only with the mindset of preventative maintenance. Not expecting noticeable power gain or MPG gain.

    My .02
