I was wondering if someone or some guys could help me install the front 5100s on my truck? I don't have the tools or space to do this and even though I've read the write ups I'd still like to do it with someone who has done it before.

I'll bring the pizza and beer?

Dang. I know its a long shot but hopefully someone will be able to help me out. Theres a fletchers right behind my station that said they would install for 50 each side for me cause of where I work. I can go over and watch em do it but honestly I'd rather get hands on and learn to do it as well as meet some of the local TW guys here.

They said they'd do an alignment for me for 40 bucks since I work at the firehouse right next to them so I am going to do that for sure.

    Thanks anyways tiotaco.

When were you looking to do them? If you come up next weekend here to PHX we are throwing Taylor's 2.5" Foxes on and his Add a leaf. Yours should be just as easy since taylor used to have 5100s

This weekend. I get the rear spring TSB done tomorrow. I am back to "work" thursday for the last shift of the tour. If I don't have them install for a $100 then I might have to wait till next weekend. But the price of driving up and back down from PHX I might as well pay them to do it.

Thanks for the invite. Ill keep you posted.

probly. gotta check with the rents first. but i'm pretty sure we could get a little mod day going if anyone else wants to work on something?

and if no one has a S/C then you can just rent one from autozone

    A spring compressor is needed.

I've seen the autozone ones, I would not trust them to compress the springs.

Oh got ya man. Gonna look sick. Yes.

I don't know where else to get one. Don't really know my other options and don't want to buy some for something I do once.

Yes. I am going to take a photo of my truck from the side with stock suspension, then with the rear spring TSB w/measurements, then with the fronts installed to 1.75. I will take photos of the process.

Check out this link I found that may help you out.

you could take the strut out and take it to a shop to have them just change over the springs. It is much safer that way. If you do do it your self just be very careful.
