    You can't install it yourself?

Mapping with an IR thermometer is very vague. Find someone with an IR camera to know exactly where those tubes are.

Having your own lift is a huge game changer.

I remember as a kid we lived in a neighborhood in Texas that had an HOA. My dad built us a playground in the backyard and the next day the HOA sent us a letter staying that we couldn't have any thing constructed on our property that extended higher than our 6ft tall wooden fence. I don't remember what he did after that but I do remember we kept the playground up so he must have come back at them with something lol.

Our board doesn't do anything really, nor do they have a say over the citations given out. We signed the management stuff over to a management company recently so they are super strict about all the rules since they want to prove they are worth the ridiculous money we are paying them. A guys lawn I mow is on the board and he told them that the working on the vehicle in the street citation was BS. He typically backs me up on most of the citations we get.

I could've sworn they were 'functional' in terms of it actually vents into the engine and just isn't for looks. @1997tacomav6 grafted one onto his Tacoma hood.

Not for me, I wish. My roommate sold his STI.

Honda of Oakland refused to let him drive the one they had, even though he had the bank statement proving he had the funds.

Oh I see them rolling around Northern California everywhere, they're not particularly rare. They're just hard to find used.

He called almost all the Honda dealers in California, and it appears only Oakland and Fremont had stock.

does anyone know the size of the threaded studs commonly found on the engine block of the 3rz? like the intake manifold or the ones for the thermostat housing or oil filter adapter? theres like 3 different sizes used

If it was $1,600 a month for the whole shop maybe that would be a good deal, but it’s only for that one lift and workbench.

Drill a few new holes in the mounting plates or weld a matching thickness tabb to base. That will allow you to move the bolt an inch or 2.

At first I thought they were selling the lift for $1600, that would have been a hell of a deal haha

    Not really.

The same lift is $2200 new.

I'm not wasting time taking apart a used lift and transporting it to my home.

Have a new one delivered for only a bit more.

Most of those places that are selling used lifts only allow you to disassemble them during business hours. Usually we only have free time during weekends. Makes it difficult to buy used.

Think about buying new. It's not much more money and much less headache.
