    I have a 2018 Off-road DCSB

I have the two side rails but wanted to add the front rail.

Has anyone added this, and if so, how did you do it, what hardware etc.

Also, is this just not an option on 2018? I saw it on other Tacos

They did away with them starting in 2016 so just grab one for a 2nd Gen, I kept the one from my old 2015 and it bolts right up.

Do you remember if you had to drill through the bed cover? They go for like $50 to $70 and say to use existing bolts, but I don't remember seeing exposed bolts on mine. I may have to see

There was no drilling required as the threaded holes are already there, if you have a Tonneau Cover then I don't think it will work.

Are you folks referring to the bolts that hold the front of the bed liner in? I'm looking to put a header track on, and am not sure the dealer will do it. The torx bolt heads I see match up with the holes in the rail?

Those are the bolts you want. I added one to my '18. It is now my bike rack!

That's not a bedliner. That is the bed of the truck. It's made from composite, no steel under there.

This does work with factory tonneau cover. I am not sure about aftermarket.

Thanks. Then when I take out the bolts the holes will still be aligned. Just ordered those parts. I'll just have to figure out how the bed extender attaches. Might be time to use the discount coupon the dealer sent me.

I have the Rugged cover. It works. The install literally took me 5 minutes with an impact driver. Five bolts. No drilling. Just remove the old torx bolts. Then install the rail.
