You can make that shit for next to nothing. All it is is some essential oils and a few other cheap ingredients.

Made the decision to go to Gatlinburg this past weekend without the wife and kiddo and ended up having a great time....only to come back a sick wife and kiddo. Took yesterday off to take them both to the doctor and baby girl tested positive for the Flu :frusty:. Wife already had her Flu shot before having the baby so hers is just considered a severe head cold. Doctors offices have said they have been getting false positives on Flu test and ours mentioned that ours could be a false positive as well so hopefully it is. I have never gotten the flu shot nor will I get it. Anyway, I get to finally pick up my skid plate from @Jerneyman so at least I have something good happening this week!:headbang:

morning! so on my 17 mile work commute my trip meter was off 1.5 miles.

hate that it's such a short trip for me to gauge on this tank, but I'm already down to a quarter tank on the gauge (@186.7 miles).

1.5 miles is approximately 8.8% of 17, so I'll just a rough correction of 8.5-9% on my miles to get MPG.

might I ask why you don't get it?

I get mine simply because I always have, and I have never had the flu. batting 100% so just sticking to it. no reason other than that. well, and it's free.

I have never gotten the shot and never gotten the flu, basically the same as you except opposite. I get colds in the winter, sometimes severe, but never the flu. Had pneumonia once when I was younger but that's it.

only thing I ever get is sinus infections and upper respiratory infections. consider myself pretty lucky, beyond that it's always stuff that might kill me....appendicitis, mono, etc..

Wife and baby both have the same cold. Baby positive for flu. Wife not tested but diagnosed as not having flu because she had the flu shot o_O
This crap makes vaccines look more effective when they turn in their information to the CDC.

he didn't say they had the "same cold" he also didn't say they wife wasn't tested, and he also said they've been getting false positives.

tell me you're not an anti-vaxxer?

First of all I resent the labeling of something you don't agree with as a disease of affliction like "anti-vaxxer." My family and I take vaccines when they are necessary. I just had yellow fever vax to go to Brazil. But, you need to educate yourself on the risks.

The next time someone goes to stick a flu vaccine in your arm ask them if they know how many people are severely injured or die from it on a yearly basis. After they tell you they have no clue ask your doctor. After he tells you that is a good question but he doesn't know thespecific number search around on the web and see what you find. After you find nothing but CDC information that says it is "extremely rare" look up vaccine court and the limits the government places on the lawsuits. The truth is that information is suppressed. I personally know someone that was made quadriplegic by the flu vaccine attacking his nervous system. After the limited lawsuit and paying the lawyer he cleared $250K and was put on disability.

First of all, I didn't label you. I asked if you were, didn't say you were. I am educated on the risks, thanks for making the assumption that I'm not.

I'll just stop the discussion here because I hate discussing with "oh you wouldn't understand that" type people, and yes I'm labeling you that.
