What time do y'all think you'll be on the trail and at the top? Depending on my schedule, I could maybe catch y'all at the top at the very least.

Not a clue. Just gonna meet up at sheetz and go from there. No idea how long it'll take to get to the trail head or the top from there.

Edit: dealership did the 10K and will also do the 20K for free.

How much of a mess does that usually make? I noticed last night that oil was seeping through the skid plate bolt that holds the access door...starting to regret using these free oil changes from the dealer. I need to check my oil level when I get home to make sure the filter isn’t leaking

I can guarantee you mine did not look like that after I did my change at 5K. It really doesn't make that much of a mess, and I am super careful with things like that. What little oil that might spill is easily cleaned up with a rag. I was also back up in there around 6K or so when I had the pan off to swap out my front coils, and I didn't notice any leaking from my work then either. Now you are making me want to go check mine out since I really didn't look after my 10K change at the dealer.

Yeah I’m wondering if they just pulled the entire filter off before draining the oil all the way and it leaked everywhere since the access hole isn’t directly below the filter. It just looks like a lot of oil to me. Especially since it’s above the filter too.

I only noticed because it looked like I sheared off the bottom two bolts on the cover but it was just oil covering them.

That would be my bet. If that is the case, I would be avoiding that service department in the future...

You better hope for bad weather! Need to test out the rig! Did you get an alignment yet?

Thanks! How soon are you selling? I'm dropping money on sliders this week, so I am unfortunately not in the market right now. Interested for sure, but I would need to wait until next month at the earliest.

Yeah probably. I’ve got another down the street so I might use them. Hopefully that’s all it is. If my oil level is low I’m going to raise hell with the dealer and Toyota.
