of course dude. job postings aren't always up to date so it's worth sending in a resume. sometimes our owners hire without ever having an actual posting.

I'd put a bug in someones ear if he decides to apply for something.

 

That'd be great. Gotta get him employed before he goes stir crazy at the house. I know being off a regular schedule is going to aggravate him more than anything. Haha.

 

what company was he with? maybe the software would be something good to know here.

 

He worked for what was previously Intergraph, now named Hexagon. Its the big glass building off of 565 with the lake in front of it out in Madison.

That’s crazy. The real University of Alabama doesn’t require the flu shot.

Sorry to hear that. Being in the GIS field, I am very familiar with intergraph and know several people that work/worked there. This is not the first time I have heard of someone being let go for what seems like no reason.

 

'tis another main reason to get a flu shot. even if you don't get the flu/never had it, you may still carry it to someone else. the flu shot typically prevents that. thats why its always highly recommend or even required around elderly, babies, etc.

 

I try to remember to never let anyone drink after me or anything, since I've had mono. Don't wish that on anyone, and mine was mild, but I'm forever a carrier of it and it can be active at any time without me knowing. Girlfriend is screwed...but just the price she pays haha. I think she may have had it already..

 

it's paralyzing. like literally you just feel 100% fatigued at all times. you take a nap, wake up, dead. go to bed, wake up, dead. always dead feeling. just breathing makes you tired.

thankfully, I've never had the flu.

 

I don’t get a flu shot normally. I do when I have to go to Baikonur during the winter for a launch. I don’t want to be the one responsible for a flu outbreak on the space station.

 

Are you staying over there until the next launch?

I was getting about 15 around town and 17 highway with spirited driving. Now with all the armor and what not, I get closer to 14. Going from a 255 to a 285 didn't make too much difference with MPG to be honest, for me at least.

 

265 I'm sure would work fine for you. That's about a 32 I think.

 

Might as well go on up to a 37.
