Anybody looking should check in at mavis, i talked to the sales guy and after a little dickering he got down to 680 out the door mounted ,balanced, tax ,freight, bottle deposit , disposal fee, and whatever else they add on. They have some wiggle room on price if they want to, it doesnt hurt to ask!

Ordered 5 255/85-16 from Discount yesterday. I told my local store about DTD deal so they knocked $10 off each tire. Doing my lift Sunday and tires Monday! I will post pics once they are on!

I consistently take my 255/85/16s down to 18 when wheeling.

Cool, I'm deciding between getting duratracs again or changing to this tire.

I always drop to 20 when rocks, sand or I need more surface area and flex. But I have ran these at 36 on FSR no problem.

Have you run duratracs before? I've had 33s and 35s and never had an issue. Took them to all kinds of rough terrain, I'm talking sharp rocks down to 16PSI. Never got flat.

I personally have not, but I do know people who have. They ran them in the “C” load and had pretty frequent flats.

Gotcha, mine were all E rate. I'm just wondering about the weight difference and performance off road, since that's what I use my truck for. No daily driver here.

I can tell you personally ST MAXX do well off-road. Since they’re a hybrid tire (all terrain/mud terrain) they clean out well and are surprisingly quiet. I would think they are really close weight wise to the duratrac.

Duratrac's have been good to me, 2 trucks 35k miles. ST Maxx's 23k on my ram no issues, have some 255/80 sitting in the garage for when the lift goes on.
