I'm building head lights for my truck. Bought some led tubing online and split my head lights today. Most people say build or put it in a oven I had no luck with that.... They we're really glued together. Use a heat gun and go along the out side edge where the glue is and slowly heat it up do not hold In one place for long! Just seeing if anyone has ideas for mounting my led tubing in?

You used a heat gun to slowly heat up the adhesive? How much of the headlight did you heat up at a time?

I went over the whole head light on low to get it warm then on high really fast around the edge then on low just to keep it at a temp that the glue was still soft and I could pull in apart.

Thanks, will have to try this. Girlfriend prefers I don’t use the new oven.
