    Does anybody else gas gauge last the longest at the top quarter of fuel? Like say you get 100 miles the first quarter then like 50 from 3/4 to 1/2...mine is crazy that way...

    So project cheap reliable daily is well underway.
    99 toyota corolla with a slung rod and hole in the block. $375 came with 4 brand new tires, brand new calipers, pads, rotors, drums, and shoes.

    Motor with 133,xxx miles on it $400.

    New cheap o battery $50

    Adds up to one badass deal and a car i can rely on for well under 1k. Ive got the old motor pulled already.

    I hope the family feels better soon.

    I don't get a flu shot either. The only time I've gotten the flu was the time I got a flu shot. My son and his mom always get a flu shot and they get the flu. They say, the shot was for a different string of flu. I don't buy it.

    filled up with gas this morning...rough estimate on that tank solid mix of city/highway is about 14.5 to 15mpg.

    yeah I never fully calculated it correctly before gears (with 35s) but after doing it today I'd bet I was only getting like 10 or 11. I was filling it up at about 180 miles a tank before gears, today I was at 208 and about halfway between E and 1/4.
